Virtual Assistant (Part Time)

Cornerstone Billing Solutions (www.Alarmbills.com) is the leading software and billing/payment processing company in the security alarm services industry.​ We are looking for a well-organized, pro-active team player to join our growing company.​ This person will support our team by handling a range of duties, including:

  • Assisting team in completing defined tasks and ad hoc projects (managed on Teamwork).
  • Managing / forwarding general end-subscriber voicemails.
  • Reviewing Teamwork for unassigned or late tasks, following up as needed.
  • Reviewing / editing invalid subscriber emails addresses.
  • Maintaining the HR calendar, including time off, holidays, etc.
  • Managing other support tasks and recurring duties as requested.

The ideal candidate will:

      • Be a self-starter, able to work independently with little supervision;
      • Have excellent time management and written / verbal communications skills;
      • Enjoy planning and keeping things organized;
      • Be very comfortable with software & technology tools (like Teamwork or similar);
      • Bring ideas and initiative to improve our team's efficiency;
      • Have a quiet home office with fast internet.​

This employee will have regular interactions with our close-knit team of friendly professionals. A college degree is preferred, as is experience as a VA or as an administrator with a smaller business.​ Depending on qualifications and experience, pay range is $17 - $22/hour with bonus opportunities based on success. There is some flexibility in the work schedule, but the work would mostly be mid-day, roughly 9 am - 3 pm Central time, 4-5 days/week. This position would involve 15-20 hours weekly, and that will likely increase as we delegate additional tasks.
